I'm wondering about the food offered at the resort... we're eating a bit "healthy" right now. Is there a lot of fresh seafood and veggies offered in the restaurants. Healthy options at breakfast too? We'll splurge a little, but would like to stick to healthier fare for the most part.

Yes! Tons of healthy options! You'll be blown away with all of the wonderful fruits and seafood.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ARRIVAL:

When you arrive at the aiport, grab your luggage and then head out to the lobby area. You'll see a kiosk that says CLUB MED. Your name should be on the list and a shuttle bus will take you to the resort.

Only accept rides from individuals wearing the Club Med t-shirts with name tags.

Once you arrive, check in, unpack and relax until 6pm...we'll meet at the Main Bar by the pool! Look for a bunch of goofy food bloggers. Best way to reach me is via jadenhair@gmail.com. I will not have cellphone access but will have wireless.

Yes- important for the people who booked their own flights - send your flight info asap to clubmedinsider at gmail dot com. Otherwise we won't know what time to come pick you up at the airport!

For convenience and ease through security, I was planning on bringing just my netbook, rather than a full laptop. Any reason that would be a problem?

Should be no problem at all. I'm bringing one too!

I am planning a visit to Ixtapa with my husband and 2 kids (5 & 2) in late February and confused about what type of room I should book. I like an ocean view and would like some privacy from kids. The reservations person suggested an Ocean View Family Suite which is pretty expensive. 1) Can I save $ and get two adjoining rooms with a ocean view? 2) Can I guarantee a building away from the new conference center construction? I don't want to hear any construction!

We are currently staying in Pajaro - and have adjoining rooms. There's no balcony, but honestly we spend most of our day outside the room at the beach or at the pool so it doesn't really matter!
