We are a family group of 7. This will be our second trip to Punta Cana and we "love this resort". We will be there March 10. We are checking to see if anyone knows the Dress code color themes this year.

We would like to do an excursion this time that everyone in our family would enjoy this would include a 9, 17 and 19 year old. Does anyone know what excursions are currently offered through Club Med in the reception area at Punta Cana? Also what are the cost of the excursions? ? Any special tips?

Hi - we are considering going to the Club Med Punta Cana. Can anyone recommend any tips on how to get a better deal, than what they offer on the club med web site? seems very pricey there.. it would be 2 adults and two kids (ages 5 & 8), Feb 18th-Feb 25th (7 nights) -- any advise offered here would be a big help

I will be vacationing at Club Med Punta Cana from 12/24-31. I will be with my wife and sons (ages 9 and 6). A few questions:
1) Should we bring any of our own sports gear? (in particular, I was contemplating snorkeling gear)
2) What are the colors/themes for evening attire? (I had heard that they change and that I should ask on this site a week or two prior)
3) Any suggested health precautions? (I've read conflicting info on malaria in the Dominican Republic)
4) Any other tips or insights that will help make this trip as enjoyable as possible?
