I would like to go scuba diving but my PADI card expired long ago. Is PADI certification available at any resorts? Which ones?

Charles says PADI certification is certainly available at Turks, I received both my OW and AOW certifications there. I believe that Columbus Isle also has a very large scuba program, and I'm fairly certain that they will do certifications as well.
If you want more details, I suggest that you give a call to reception at either Turks or CI around 7pm Eastern time. There is usually someone at the scuba shack then, and they could give you specifics.
For what it's worth, I have found the scuba team at Turks to be friendly, professional, and very conscious of safety. And the diving is amazing. Posted March 11, 2009, 8:38 pm

0Dr. Jay says Padi cards never expire. You can call Padi to get your #, and buy a new card. However, you may find it helpful to take a refresher course. Any dive operation can go to the PADI website and find you also...............have fun Posted April 12, 2009, 6:02 pm

0Melanie says Scuba certifications never expire. However if you have not dove within one year, most locations require that you have a refresher dive (a shallower supervised dive) to make sure you are comfortable. If you are not fully certified, meaning you did a resort course in the past, but never completed your diving instruction, then you will need to re-take the class. Cheers. Posted July 2, 2009, 1:23 pm
