Do you need to pre buy the scuba package? They offered it at time of reservation and I was not sure if it was needed?

Kirsti Frost says It is always best to pre buy the scuba package as that way you are guaranteed a spot. This is a very popular activity in Columbus and Turkoise, so the risk of waiting could mean you miss out. But it is also available on site Posted March 17, 2009, 8:39 am

0Mark says There seemed to be a small discount by purchasing in advance, but we had no problem signing up for diving any day, even showing up unannounced in the morning. You might want to buy a minimum package and keep your flexibility for more. Posted April 14, 2009, 1:39 am

0Buddy Blanton says The last word I got was that you can't book them early at Columbus Isle, but there's no cost difference, as found in other sites. The cost of the dives are 70.00 book one at a time, or 6 for 355.00, and I think 12 dives are 460.00, but I think prices vary. A friend of mine booked the twelve, but only did eight because of all the other things to do and because of just being so tired. I'd recommend booking six, so you will have time to enjoy all the other activities, party a few nights, and get some rest. The dives are great, but so is the rest of the resort!!
