Heidi says honestly the food is pretty similar at all the cm's we've been to. the service varies with the attitude of the locals in the restuarants, but the food is consistant. Posted July 6, 2009, 1:11 am

0Melanie says The food has been fairly consistent to me and consistently good. I did like the specialty restaurant in cancun and I think the food in punta cana was a bit better than the rest, but I have never had a problem. Posted July 7, 2009, 11:40 am

0Caroline says I thought the food in Punta Cana was excellent, especially if you stick to the French and Dominican (local) specialties. Hispaniola was offering an amazing prix fixe menu while we were there, and Samana had a Taste of Asia week (Indian, Thai, Chinese, etc each night) including its French and Dominican cuisine. The Taste of Asia was a bit of a hit or miss, but everything else was delectable. I'm still thinking about the lobster in butter sauce I had there a month ago!
The dessert offerings at night were a bit too tempting--I couldn't resist walking away with at least two treats a night! Posted July 27, 2009, 5:19 pm

0jody says Ixtapa has unbelievable food!!! Shrimp, caviar, the best I've had at any Club Med. Midnight beach BBQs, taco bar open all day near the pool, non stop and top quality. Posted July 27, 2009, 6:42 pm

0Sandra says From the Clubs I've visited (Opio, Vittel, Les Deux Alpes, Marrakech), the food in Marrakech la Palmeraie was the best. So many to choose and very good quality. Posted July 29, 2009, 5:24 am

0Craig says I'd have to agree Ixtapa. Not only is it good, but it is the most authentic to the locale on any Club Med currently or formerly in Mexico (I've been to them all). Salsas are amazing. Seasoning amazing. Morning Huevos Rancheros bar amazing. For overall quality, Columbus Isle is also excellent. Posted August 2, 2009, 9:41 am
