Kirsti Frost says Hi there, The rooms were renovated a couple of years ago and are great. The rest of the resort has just had a face lift ( all is now colors of burgundy and beige) and I also believe they are doing the same thing to the restaurant. Its not a renovation on the scale of our other resorts but it looks good. Posted July 6, 2009, 11:07 am

0Rob says I don't think Turkoise will get renovated. Most of the older GO's seem to think it may close within 2 years due to an expiring land lease or something. The walkways around the pool are a disgrace...broken concrete, chipped concrete...it's not something you want to step on with your bare feet. Posted July 27, 2009, 5:45 pm

0Teresa says I have traveled all over the world and stayed in hotels and resorts that range from bad to 5 star...Turkoise has character and charm....along with GREAT people, both the members and the GO's. We were just there in August and I don't care if the sidewalk is chipped or the ping pong table is a little crooked. We had a great time. It is up to YOU to make the most of your stay somewhere and to get your monies worth out of the activities and services. I really hope they keep Turkoise open long enough for me to go again...I would be very sad to see it close. Posted October 29, 2009, 1:57 pm
