Gabrielle says I have been at COLUMBUS ISLE 4 times now and there is NO Wi-fi in the indidivual rooms (unless they changed it this winter) - but there is a very nice room with sofa's, armchairs where I have seen people use their computers.
I myself leave my computer at home and enjoy my seven days without internet -- relief!!! Posted February 26, 2009, 8:13 pm

0Kristin says My son and I stayed at Columbus Isle in April. It was amazing. However, I didn't bring my laptop, but planned instead to use their computers and just buy a week's access. Would have been perfect .... except internet was down every single day after the first. It wound up being great to be so cut off from technology, but if you REALLY need to access your email/the internet - you should consider bringing your laptop. Posted June 26, 2009, 3:33 pm

0Anthony Pfau says I was worried about that on the first time, but when I go there, all I needed the internet for was to check email every other day and get our connecting flight tickets. It was nice to be off the leash! We bought a week pass to access the computers in the lounge and I just set my email up to auto respond with a vacation message and check in with family, but, way too busy with vacation to get tied to the box in the middle of paradise. 0Buddy Blanton says There's a hot spot next to the boutique, but there's so much more to do. The last thing I worried about was email. The world kept spinning, and all was fine when I returned. It such a wonderful place you probably won't waste time on the internet. It's a vacation, and it was one of the best I have ever been on. ENJOY!! Posted June 29, 2009, 10:07 pm

0Darryl says Just got back from Columbus Isle (July 18-25 2009), they do offer Wi-Fi. The reception is spotty in the rooms. I mostly used the Wi-fi on my iPod touch around the Beach Bar and by the pool. You could also find many Laptop users doing the same. By the way, Wi-Fi is free until the Club closes for the season in September. Posted August 8, 2009, 5:05 pm
