I've read mixed reviews on La Caravelle.....2007 seems to have been a good year with great staff, however, 2008, not so much. Has anyone been lately (2009) and what was your experience.
My family is thinking of going in March, 2010 for spring break and although, my husband has been many times years ago and speaks French fluently, I'm concerned about some of the reviews.
Thanks for any help.

Ross says Well, Caravelle looks like a nice property. It's on a non-touristy island, and it was renovated in 2006. Although I never stayed there, the TripAdvisor user reviews have been great lately. If you're looking for spring break, I would rush and check out the Winter Sale. The rooms look nice and you can get connecting rooms or suites. The G.O.'s probably speak English, too.
