Club Med Insider

What clubs are good for families? I have two children of 3 and 5. I will also be travelling with my husband who likes golf. What would you suggest for a week in September.

Sandra says Depends on where you live, but if you're looking for a resort near USA, i suggest Punta Cana, Cancun or La Caravelle. If you like to travel elsewhere, some nice resorts are La Pointe aux Canonniers (Mauritius) or Bali/Phuket/Cherating (Asia) Posted February 18, 2010, 9:31 am

andrea says We love Ixtapa. They have petit club for 2 and 3 year olds. If you wait until your child is 4 or close to it then the petit club may not be necessary. If your child is just 3 I would not go to a club that only has children's facilities from age 4. Posted February 21, 2010, 9:13 pm

Todd says Ixtapa. We have a four year-old and were there last week. No golf, but absolutely perfect for your kids. Posted March 10, 2010, 5:29 pm

Debbie says IXTAPA. they do have golf courses close by, I think two of them. Check out this website for more info: http://www.ixtapa-condo.com/golf.html.
We went to CM Ixtapa last year and had a phenomenal time. I can tell you more about Cancun next month after we go there.

Fiora says Sandpiper would have been a great suggestion for you... This Club Med is located on a Golf in Florida, and children are nicely handled! Child care and developmental programs will be enhanced with the renovation project.
Too bad the grand opening is planned for December... But I'm sure it will help you later, for the next time for example! Posted July 6, 2010, 2:07 pm

felipe says in my opinion, it would be a good thing to go to cancun yucatán or rio das pedras in brazil, we have four kids, and the structure on both is great Posted September 4, 2010, 9:59 am
