Club Med Insider

Does Club Med offer instruction in sand castle building? I really want to construct something Rodin-esque. Out of sand.

Edgard Beckand says Actually I have been told they do this at the Mini Club Med. Having seen your profile it might be difficult to be able to participate. But then again if you are young at heart they might let you in.

Btw out of my own experience the sand at Cancun Yucatan resort fine and sticky. Ideal I would say Posted February 26, 2009, 3:48 pm

Parentopia Devra says Why don't you ask for help when you get to whichever resort you will be visiting? I found the GO's happy to help. I bet you could find one who would happily build castles in the sand with you. I found a sand rendition of Rodin's "The Kiss" at this site, you may want to show this to the GO in case they aren't familiar with Rodin. : )http://www.sandsculpture.co.uk/ Posted March 1, 2009, 3:42 pm

G. K. says You might want to check a group called Team Sandtastic (teamsandtastic.com). They do sand scupltures in different types of events and it seems they are at Club Med every now and then. If you email them they may be able to tell you when and where they'll be next and even give you some sand sculpting tips. Posted March 1, 2009, 10:22 pm

Zack Attack Sultan says Hey Gustavo, thanks so much for the link to Team Sandtastic. I adore their rendering of Teddy Roosevelt, one of my all time favorite presidents. Posted March 11, 2009, 1:14 pm
