Club Med Insider

As I will be travelling to this resort in a couple of weeks with two young children, I am concerned about a recent Trip Advisor review about this resort in which Salmonella poisoning referred to. This family reports they became very ill and had to take their dehydrated 2 year-old by cab to a clinic for IV. They claim to have received little to no assistance from Club Med Ixtapa staff, and the review is actually quite scathing. Although this reviewer attributed the problem to Iguana feces in and around the resort, another Trip Advisor member commented on seeing kitchen staff using the same utensils for raw meat and serving the food. This member also mentioned getting sick. Could a Club Med rep please provide comment on this site, or post a manager's response on Trip Advisor? Thank you.
