My friends are going to Ixtapa and their kids have really bad allergies and asthma. Has anyone who has stayed in the deluxe family rooms every had a problem? Did you find it a bit moldy at all? I never notice these things but her kids are super sensative. I get that it is the Caribbean with humidity etc - but some places are worse or better than others.

Katie says When I went to Ixtapa I didn't find it was moldy. But, just keep in mind, when traveling to any place in a humid climate, there may be some mold present. The family rooms are great btw, a separate area for kids to sleep! Posted June 15, 2010, 5:09 pm
