What are the advantages of staing in a Trident roon in Cancun? I am trying to understand what the differences are and if it is worth the extra money.

I am traveling with my wife and 3 kids (11,8,4). Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

heidi says IMO, not a huge difference. I have been to Cancun twice since they opened up the Jade, and although lovely, it is a little far from the rest of the club, and kids clubs. Also, it is a little too close to the night club. If you are looking for some great views, we stayed with our three kids in a luxury ocean from in the Topacio building. It had a lot of the perks, like bath robes/slippers, upgraded bath products, views etc. But it was a lot less money. The Jade has a concierge, separate check in, room service for breakfast, it's own pool and some other perks, but honestly save the money you would pay and go on a great excursion instead. You hardly spend any time in the room anyway, and your kids will want to be near all the action of the main pool and the main beach. Have fun no matter what! Posted August 11, 2010, 2:47 pm
