Are there any decent, secure, and nonjudgemental hotels/locations that you can travel to with obese adults? Seems like wherever we end up there are the forbidden stares and it does affect the moral of our group. Is there no place in the US or abroad (even cruising) that you can be accepted for the person you are?
Thanks!

Emma says You might enjoy Freedom Paradise, about an hour south of Cancun. I also noticed that lots of beach hotels in Puerto Vallarta had vacationers who were amply sized, and nobody stared at all. Even at Club Med, vacationers are not so athletic and trim as they used to be, before all-day snacking was introduced. Posted June 26, 2009, 8:29 pm

0Jeannette Ziegler says I know what you mean everyone stares at you at the buffet and the stupid comments all the time. I started FA (Food Addicts anonymous) and it's really helping, a lot of encouragement and love. I think it would be great to get a bunch of those guys together and book a cruise or resort with a bunch of people that are in the same situation, then there would be no staring and comments. Unfortunately, most people are stupid, so good luck. Posted July 27, 2009, 10:52 pm
