Is there anyone else who misses the Ixtapa village the way it was before the remodel? Our family made annual trips to Ixtapa for four years before the change and one year after, and although the "upgrades" are very nice, it seems to have made the resort more like every other competitor and less like Club Med. I am booked in a FAMILY CLUB ROOM that will accomodate our family of 5. I was told at booking there are no balconies. Is this true???
There are many web posts that seem to indicate that you can get a FAMILY CLUB ROOM with a balcony...or upgrade to a FAMILY DELUX ROOM.
I would really appreciate it if someone out there knows the ins and outs and can reccomend what to do.
