Hope this doesn't get posted twice!! When is the best time to visit Ixtapa considering price/programs- we have two kiddos 2/6 and are able to travel anytime March - Sept. 2010. This year price is our biggest consideration (blah). Looks like a lovely experience - I think our boys will love it if we can make it work. Any advice?? Read More ›
We plan to travel to the Ixtapa Pacific CM in the middle of Sept (2 adults, 1 toddler) but now I'm wondering if we should reschedule our vacation because I read that the swine flu is expected to get worse in the fall and pregnant women are considered at high risk. I'll be 5+ months pregnant by then. All the recent news about pregnant women or new moms dying (in the SF Bay Area where we're from) is scaring me and I'm wondering if I should be worried.
From what I've read it seems that the resort itself will be safe so I'm wondering if the plane ride and 1 hr transfer through Mexico City Airport will be dangerous.
