We are going to Club Med Punta Cana for a 13-day stay arriving in late June as part of a three-week vacation. We are trying to assess how much clothing to bring. It will be our third time at the resort but the first since 2005. At that time, the resort offered a laundry service whereby you could get a large bag of clothes washed at a very reasonable price (unlike most hotels and resorts which are charging ludicrous prices on a per item basis). What is the Mini Club Crazy Sign song for Feb 2010? (Words include "shake shake shake" and "I love Mini Club" at the end.) I spent my holidays at Club Med Punta Cana from 01/02/2010 until 12/02/2010. The day before our departure I met someones eyes at the pool and I was struck by lightning...never experienced such a thing...love at first sight... The day after I saw him on the beach,southern type light eyes and black/white/green bollboang swimshirt, in a group of 6 to 8 persons; and in the evening at the restaurant. I am traveling to Punta Cana for the first time in March 2010. My doctor, (and the US CDC), are advising that I should take preventative meds for malaria, typhoid and Hep A before traveling to the DR. Yet I have spoken with many people who have traveled to Punta Cana and none of them have ever taken preventative meds for these diseases. Are these precautions really necessary? Read More ›
