We are traveling to Punta Cana from Jan 28 to Feb 4. I was wondering what were the theme/dress codes for those days? Out of curiosity do you offer bachata lessons on site? Read More ›
i will be making my first trip to punta cana this month. is there a pharmacy on site? or a service to pick up from a pharmacy? i am slightly concerned about possible stomach ailments, and am not sure of the policy of taking medication into the DR from the US. perhaps a bit paranoid, but my brother had an awful experience in Cancun (traveler's diarrhea) and i would rather be prepared than scramble. i assume there is at least a shop on the premises Read More ›
My family is taking a trip to Club Med Punta Cana in January of 2012. We are a family of 8, 2 adults 6 kids ages 14-2. I have been to tripadvisor, and read many negative reviews on the restaurants (bird problems in one, mold and cockroaches in the other). I want to know if these are real problems! We are currently staying at a deluxe family bedroom, and we are wondering if it we should downgrade to a club family room. How is the deluxe family bedroom situated? how many sleeping places are there? Is it significantly better then the club family room? We are spending 6700 on rooms alone, so we want to get what we pay for. Thanks! Read More ›
My family of 4 includes a 16 year old and a 13 year old. Are there any accommodations at Punta Cana "large enough" for the whole family to stay in one room or suite? (The clubmed website needs to be updated to include the specific sleeping accomodations in the various rooms!)
Minimum requirement would be real beds for 4 (not pullouts / sofabeds). Ideal would be that, plus 2 bathrooms.
What are the possibilities? Last year we stayed in Ixtapa w/ 2 adjoining Club rooms and it worked very well.
Hello, I am wondering what kind of beer they serve in Punta Cana? We went to Cancun last year and it was DosXX, is it the same in PC? I just assumed it would be something different given it's not Mexico ;) Thanks! Read More ›

I am traveling to Punta Cana for the first time in March 2010. My doctor, (and the US CDC), are advising that I should take preventative meds for malaria, typhoid and Hep A before traveling to the DR. Yet I have spoken with many people who have traveled to Punta Cana and none of them have ever taken preventative meds for these diseases. Are these precautions really necessary? Read More ›
