What is CM like during a Holiday week at full capacity ?

We are going to Ixtapa Thanksgiving week and guessing it will be full.
Will we lack good service or are there more GM's there during holiday weeks ? Do the small children's (under 5) clubs get too full ?

Hi. I'm traveling at the end of July to Ixtapa with 3 kids (2,9,11). First, I wanted to find out if I could get the activities schedules ahead of time? Second, I'm wondering is it safe to leave the resort and go to barrio del Refugio or other local sites? I just read about an incident on the Acapulco-Zih highway that happened this weekend. That started making me nervous! Also, what do the schedules look like for adult activities?

My husband & kids -girl 15,son- 13, will be at the Sandpiper at end of Aug. for 7 days. Just read that the gym won't be ready.What's the status for the rest of the resort? My son will be joining his high school tennis team & he wants to play & take lessons. Altho we will be staying in 2 prerenovated rms., hope theyre ok & located in a good place with a view.Should I be worried? Will my daughter find friends, will be son be able to play as much tennis as he would like? I am a little nervous. We will be driving from Orlando after spending 3 days at Sea World & Discovery Cove.Plan to rent a car to take us back to West Palm Beach airport. I can not find a picture of all the pools (adult, kids) in that resort. Can anyone send me a link if it's possible?
I need a map of the resort to figure out where buildings, bars, pools, beach, etc. is located.
Activities at the petit club for my 2 year old includes what?

Hi there,

We are leaving for Sandpiper on April 10. My son Pablo is 3 1/2 years old. I want to put him in the child club for his age group.

I was told that the club for children is closed on Wednesday. Since we are staying only 5 full days, Pablo would be able to go only 4 days to the child club.

Paying over $400 upfront for the 4 days is expensive. Can I just pay for each day once I am at the resort? What would be the daily charge?
