Does anyone know why Club Med is charging the same for a 3 year old as a 4 year old for winter 2012-2013 at Baby Club resorts, despite the fact that the kids club is included in the price of a 4 year old's stay, but no kids club is included for the 3 year old? Kids club for a 3 year old (Petit Club) costs an extra $500+ for a week so if you travel with a 3 and 4 year old, your 3 year old costs you $500+ more. It makes no sense. Read More ›
Hi, I am a single parent with a 18 month old toddler. I am looking for a relaxing getaway preferably with beautiful beaches. Whilst I want to spend time with my son, as a single mum I also want to be able to take a swin or have a massage and know that my son is having fun and being well taken care of. As I am based in Australia I am considering the Bali, Bintan Island, Phuket and Lindeman Island options. Can anyone reccomend one of these over the other? Going to the Sandpiper for Christmas week 2011 with our teenage daughters. Two questions:
1) Are all the renovations complete? 2) How is it possible that the rooms do not have internet access and why would an all-inclusive resort charge for internet access when the most basic, cheapest motels in the U.S. don't charge for it?
We'll be in Ixtapa in January. Our family will be staying in the suites and I understand there is a private car service that will drive us from the airport. So I wanted to know if child car seats are provided by the resort for the 1/2 hour drive. Read More ›
Hi. I'm traveling at the end of July to Ixtapa with 3 kids (2,9,11). First, I wanted to find out if I could get the activities schedules ahead of time? Second, I'm wondering is it safe to leave the resort and go to barrio del Refugio or other local sites? I just read about an incident on the Acapulco-Zih highway that happened this weekend. That started making me nervous! Also, what do the schedules look like for adult activities?
Hi! Anyone who has info, please help as I am having major anxiety over this. Thanks in advance. My son will be 23 months when we travel for a week in May. He is a big boy and I'm very concerned about his sleeping arrangments--i.e the pack n' plays the resorts have. Did you have any problems with your toddlers sleeping in them? Are they at least decent sizes, etc. He is used to sleeping in a full size crib and I'm worried he will not have enough room since he rolls around a lot ;) Did anyone rent full size cribs from other sources?
