When my bride and I first started visiting Club Med resorts in the 70's they had an Olympiad on Wednesdays. The G.O.'s would go out and hand out arm bands of different colors to the G.M.'s and on Weds, they would all gather to their color and plan their approach to the various tests, competitions, etc. Some required strength, some skill, some puzzle solving, they even had javelin throwing at one such event, but it got everyone pulling together as a team and we all had great fun. About 10 years ago our family vacationed at a club med resort in the bahamas, and we have differing recollections about the experience. I think our daughter took part in circus activities that culminated in her performing in a trapeeze show indoors in front of an auduence. She believes this happened at a resort in Mexico. I think this club med resort has since closed, perhaps after hurricane damage. anyone have medmories that might fill in the blanks? Read More ›
