We are a family group of 7. This will be our second trip to Punta Cana and we "love this resort". We will be there March 10. We are checking to see if anyone knows the Dress code color themes this year.
We would like to do an excursion this time that everyone in our family would enjoy this would include a 9, 17 and 19 year old. Does anyone know what excursions are currently offered through Club Med in the reception area at Punta Cana? Also what are the cost of the excursions? ? Any special tips? Read More ›
My husband, 11-year-old son, and I would like to go to a Club Med in December or January. We would like to be able to snorkel directly from the beach, at a short walk away, or to take a boat directly from the resort to a good snorkeling site nearby. We stayed at the Club Med Ixtapa before; although the resort and beaches were beautiful, there was no snorkeling directly from the resort beach. Furthermore, the snorkeling trip that we took to a nearby site was expensive, the place was crowded and most of the coral was dead. We tried another trip on the catamaran – the snorkeling was much better but we had only 45 minutes in the water and the trip took almost the full day by the time we took the bus, pick up other people, got on the boat, etc. Would someone advise us about the best Club Med in the Caribbean for beach snorkeling or would have daily snorkeling excursions included in the package? We are considering Punta Cana, Cancun, Columbus Isle, Buccaneer Creek or La Caravelle. Read More ›
I´m going to be in CM Punta Cana last week of May and first of June. Would like to go to Santo Domingo . A few years ago, in CM Ixtapa, we had some very unformal and basic spanish "classes" in the theater mid afternoon when the sun was quite hot. We thought that was a really good idea and CM could easily find a spanish speaking GO (or GE ?) to lead a very simple spanish language meet up. It was sad last year to be in Punta Cana where the spanish language was totally ignored during the presentations. Read More ›
How's the tennis program at Punta Cana? I just got back from Sandpiper and it was awesome - I'm planning on going to either Punta Cana or Ixtapa (need a family resort) and want the one with the best tennis program! Read More ›
