First time to an all-inclusive resort. I noticed in some pictures of the pool and beach that all the loungers had towels thrown on them but no people in them - I get that some people may be swimming or gone to grab a drink BUT is there a proper CM etiqutte to establish whether the chair might be available and the last people have just left their towel behind? I've been reading on the kind of the crowd that is often vacationing at Club Med Cancun and read a lot about Parisians not being the friendliest of the bunch. Any opinions? Is there a diverse group of people that vacation at Club Med Resorts. It kinda stinks being the odd ball out. Read More ›

We are travelling from Australia to Club Med Cancun in early May. Because we are outside our "area", Club Med will not organise transfers for us from Cancun airport to their resort. Can any one help with suggestions on a safe, reliable way for 5 adults to get from the airport to Club Med? Read More ›
This year I've gotten a bad surprise and haven't even left home yet. I have a 3 and 4 year old and booked two rooms months ago. With exactly one week to go the Scottsdale reservations group emailed me to tell me that I would have to pay an additional $1134 to have my two rooms adjacent to each other.
Anyone else experience this?
We find it peculiar they know there was an expectation for having rooms together, they did contact us... Perhaps I'm out of touch and modern families with young children normally stay in different rooms on opposite sides of the resort.
At this point no one is budging and I'll have to cancel and seek remediation by whatever means I can.
This seems to be the single most effective way to alienate repeat Customers and have them never come back. Read More ›
