I agree, Columbus Isle is a great choice. If you've already been there or want to go elsewhere...you could try one of the resorts billed as "family" during the months of Sept/Oct when the kids are back in school and the atmosphere is more adult at the resorts.

Completely agree with Elizabeth's suggestions. Club Med can be a nice home-base for trips abroad when you're traveling alone. And, should you choose to stay nearby - no question - Turkoise. Have a great trip!

The kids are divided into groups by age so that the activities can cater to that age. The 3 year old will likely be in a different group, but there will be other kids for him to make friends with. My kids were divided and I thought this was going to create a problem...but after they got into their individual groups, they were perfectly happy. Even within the "mini club" they are split by age to ensure the older kids get to do those things they are capable of without pushing the younger ones.

Hi Nathaniel,
There's no deposit requirement. Only if you wanted to set up an account for telephone charges, boutique...etc. But I would definintely recommend bringing a credit card in case of an emergency - you can always leave it in the in-room safe.
