Kristi, Thanks for the help. I would love to hear what's available for my kids that week. My son is 8, my girls are 14 and 16. I hope there is some cooking going on while they are there!

Mini Club here in Ixtapa is amazing! The GO staff is really incredible with the kids. The kids can join or check out of the group at any time during the day. My son, 8 years old, is generally pretty apprehensive about this stuff and he is having a great time! He actually asked to be signed in one day when we were planning to have him spend the entire day with us.

Having been to Ixtapa with my family and to Cancun with Devra, I would recommend both! My teenage girls had an incredible time in Ixtapa. There were plenty of scheduled teen activities to take advantage of when they weren't lounging by the pool, hanging on the beach or taking part in Zumba and Samba classes. They met other kids and had an incredible time. As for the adult trip to Cancun - well, suffice it to say Devra and I had fun acting like we were teens again. I would suggest you spend some time checking out the Club Med sites and the Club Med pages on Facebook - lots of videos to give you a good look at things to do at the different resorts.
