I agree with a lot of the people above. I go to Club med every year and think that the membership fee is just a major ripoff. Since I travel a lot for work, I can say that the best loyalty program is the one that Hilton implements. Gives you a lot of flexibility when it comes to getting your rewards, room upgrades and the feeling that as a loyal customer the organization really appreciates you bringing it business year after year.
