I am also concerned about the Trip Advisor reviews mentioning Salmonella. Especially since one member commented on seeing kitchen staff using the same utensils for raw meat and serving the food. Traveller's Diarrhea or a regular flu virus are one thing, but Salmonella due to unsanitary resort or kitchen practices is another. I was also bothered by the story of the family with a dehydrated 2 year-old who had to take a cab to get medical help and who claim to have received little to no assistance from staff. Could a Club Med rep please provide comment on this site, or post a manager's response on Trip Advisor?

I have two girls (5 & 7) and we were CM newbies too so I totally understand your dilemma! We were there in the middle of March and the themes were: green and white, black and pink, jeans and white and cowboy hat (only GO's wore those), jeans and black, 45 t-shirts (can be bought there), and "elegant". I noticed that the themes were identical for the week after we left. Not too many people follow the "codes" though. My girls did have fun doing them, but it's true that everyone dresses pretty casual and my girls found they brought way too many "pretty dresses" and didn't use most of them. You'll have a great time, I'm jealous!!!
