Elizabeth is completely right. The drinking age here at Club Med Ixtapa does follow the federal law of 18 years. We do also give minors a separate colored wrist band so there is no confusion within the village.

Hi Debbie, I asked Geoff the chief of bar your question and here is what he had to say. "I would be more than happy to share with her the ingredients. Here in Mexico it is custom to enjoy tequila while sipping on a "Sangrita". This tomato based drink also includes Orange Juice, “Tabasco”, “Worcestershire” sauce, soy sauce, celery salt, and lime juice. My Assistant from Spain likes to add a little bit of cocktail olives for a special taste." I hope this answers the question and if there is anything else please, feel free to ask. We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope to see you again soon.

Hello Debbie, The color schemes for Ixtapa generally stay the same for the season, with some minor alterations from time to time. If you want to make sure to have all the evening dress wear, here's what we've been doing since the beginning of the season. Welcome Day: Elegant / All White Multicultural Day: Black and Pink / Red Jungle Day: Earth Tones (black, beige, brown) Mexican Day: Jeans and White Family Day: All Black Music Day: Jeans and Black Circus Days: White and Colorful If you bring these colors you should have no trouble "fitting in" with the GOs during the evenings. Feel free to ask any other questions that may help in your preparation for your vacation here with us. See you soon!

Hello, The dress codes are for evening wear and are only a suggestion for guests, but do add to the atmosphere of each night as they fit with the individual themes. Family Day: All Black Jungle Day: Earth Colors (beige, brown, black) Music Day: Jeans and Black Welcome Day: All White Multicultural Day: Black and Red Game Night: White and Colorful 45 t-shirt Also for the Kids programs, you'll be able to bring them to the Mini Club and Petit Club at 9am on your first morning to register them for your entire stay and they'll be able to join right away for the activities that start at 9.30am. I suggests making sure you pack a swimsuit, a hat, running shoes, sunscreen, and a small bad for them to put it all in as there is cubby space for them at the Mini Club. Hope this helps, See you soon!
