No Place Like Club Med!

1977, we were newlyweds & a ferocious snow storm had destroyed our honeymoon, so we saved cash for CLUB MED, a destination my VERY weathy and well-traveled boss raved about for years! Club Med made our dreams a reality. The Club, beyond a vacation brochure's promotion, it was real, in living/breathing color and the staff were truly at our beckon call; the food an eclectic collection of the world's best. The chef discovered my husband's Texan accent and his lust for bread; each night, a small hand-made Texas flag sat atop the chef's recommendation for my husband to try that evening! In the ensuing 32 years of marriage, Club Med has been the home to our son's maiden open water dive, anniversaries and truly anecdotes to civilization. We've traveled extensively now...and there is NO place like CLUB MED!
